Free Calls

There are a couple of ways you can make a free call to me. I am going to assume that you live outside of the United States. Both options I will provide will use VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol). This means your phone must have an internet connection, and the appropriate app to call me on. This is essential to know as it is the only way for that free call to me. No matter what, I will NOT do video calls. If you initiate a video call, and I answer, you will get a picture of my ear, or inside my pocket the phone is located on. If I hear a speakerphone call, I will terminate the call. To me, calls are a private thing, and I shouldn’t get the public involved in my conversations. The options are as follows:

  • FaceTime
  • Signal

Facetime

You can use my iPhone as the FaceTime call you can make. If you are not in my contacts, I will see your Apple ID as you setup. If you have no phone number associated with your Apple ID, then I will see your email ID instead. When you call, my iMac, and iPhone will both ring. Because I believe that conversations should be a private matter, I will answer with my iPhone.

Signal

Signal is a secured messaging application. It will also do calls by using any of my Signal number(s). As with FaceTime, I will not do video calls. With that said, I will only do private audio calls. I also don’t always carry my Razr, so I may not answer if you were to call the Razr.
