I used to have an Grandstream WP825 which I had for 2 years before it expired. At this time, I am not prepared to spend $150 for a new phone, which is actually the reason I have the Ooma since I already had the hardware, and I just pulled it out of retirement. Both telephone numbers will send the caller directly to voicemail without any phone ringing. This is essential to understand that these numbers are for voicemail solutions only. If there was a way to forward these calls where they will go to the Ooma’s voicemail service automatically, I would setup that feature. For now, any voicemails will be sent to me as a .mp3 file.
The third number is an incoming fax number. I can not send faxes with this number. Instead, any faxes to this number will automatically be intercepted by Callcentric, and converted into a .pdf file. I will assume that the .pdf file will be emailed to me. If not, I will have to log into the portal, and check my faxes that way. Once I am able to setup my fax service with Ooma, I will cancel this line as it does not get any faxes, and it is about $5.00 per month.
